Prior to opening up Bio-One Utah, Joe owned his own his own insurance business for the last five years. He's also worked as a marketing executive in the Outdoor Sporting goods, Performance Automotive, and Off Road industries for ten years.
Joe has always been a Utah native, but has also lived in El Paso, Texas and Oklahoma City. One of the reasons he opened up a Bio-One franchise is to move back home because he missed the Rocky Mountains too much!
When deciding if Bio-One was the right franchise for him, Joe considered his past experiences and future goals. He had success as a business owner selling insurance and always regretted getting out of it. It was only going to be a matter of time until he got back into doing his own thing, and after 10 years, it felt like the right time. He investigated several start-ups and franchises and Bio-One met all of his criteria and edged out everything else. Most importantly, he wanted a business where he could be involved in the community and actually do something that helped and made a difference. Joe explains, "I fee Bio-One is unique in the regard that they go out and help people everyday."
Joe is looking forward to the future of Bio-One Utah. He's enjoyed the friendly environment and how dedicated everyone is. Joe reveals, "Everyone is interested in sharing information and improving each other. It's good energy to feed off of. I have probably bugged the franchises with a zillion questions over the past few months and every time they have been willing to answer my questions and help me out. I want to be a part of a team like that!"
A little bit more about Joe:
"Life is too short to take things seriously. I like to joke around a lot. I like being a dad. I enjoy vegging out with video games in my spare time. I also read a lot and am a master at all kinds of useless trivia. I rarely lose any kind of trivial or pop cultural challenge unless its sports statistics, which I don't really pay attention to."
Welcome to the team, Joe!
